Welcome to the website of the Mongolian graduates of Australian University. It has been almost 13 years, since the AusAid program has been introduced for Mongolian civil servants to study in Australian Universities. Over these years, there were over 100 graduates, who have successfully studied and completed diploma, Master’s and PhD studies in Australia. The beneficiaries of the Australian International Development Assistance have returned to Mongolia and now work in the Ministries and government agencies, non-government organizations and private sector. Among graduates of the AusAid program are Ministers, Members of Parliament, head of Agencies, Project Managers of World Bank, Asian Development Bank and other international organizations, as well as successful businessmen working in different areas contributing to the development of their country. We would like to thank BHP Billiton Company for their support in developing and launching website for Mozzies. The current website serves as a main tool for communication among Mozzies , updating them about upcoming events and activities, providing support and assistance with job opportunities for new graduates as well as enables Mongolian graduates of Australian university graduates to share with others about their experiences living in Australia, opportunities for networking, etc.We hope that you will find this website useful and will find interesting opportunities to cooperate with us Sincerely yours,
The Mozzies’ website was launched on January 25, 2008 in the eve of the Australia day.
The website launching was attended by about 60 people – members of Mozzies’ Association, Australian Youth Ambassadors working in Mongolia, Mongolians studying currently at the Universities in Australia, “ Mongolia – Australia Capacity Building & Small Activity Facility” project staff, representatives of BHP Billiton Mongolia office, people who lived and worked in Australia and Mongolia, business people and supporters.
The website launching was opened by N. Enkhbold , President of Mozzies’ Association, who welcomed all gathered and introduced distinguished guests.
The website was presented in detail, outlining major functions, opportunities and challenges faced and needed to address in the future. The presentation was followed by a discussion on ways of improving its content as well as operation of the Association itself and participants shared their opinion, comments and suggestions on future collaboration of members of Association and coordination of work with not only members, but also with other organizations, such as CabSaf, Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development, etc. The discussion was followed by informal dinner, where participants were able to get acquainted and network with each other.
